LUDOVICA CATTANEO

Ludovica Cattaneo nasce a Milano nel 1975. Finito il liceo classico intraprende un percorso di formazione professionale in grafica, illustrazione, fotografia e photoediting. Collabora con l’archivio fotografico Franca Speranza di Milano. Fa esperienza creativa lavorativa in agenzia di pubblicità, realizza i materiali grafico-editoriali dei concerti per l’orchestra sinfonica di Milano G. Verdi e successivamente per l’ONG italiana “AiBi Amici dei bambini”. Nel frattempo, insieme ad altre socie, fonda nel 2006 l’associazione onlus “Le Mille”, realtà che promuove il diritto alla comunicazione (laboratori di italiano e laboratori creativo-espressivi) come diritto alla cittadinanza per tutte le donne migranti, straniere e non. Studia danza afro-contemporanea, compie 2 soggiorni-studio in Africa occidentale (Guinea e Burkina Faso) durante i quali realizza alcuni reportage fotografici.

She was born in Milan in 1975. After High School, with clasical studies, she took a vocational training in graphics, illustration, photography and photoediting. She collaborated with the photo archive Franca Speranza Milan and she did her creative work in an advertising agenecy and she created graphci materials for the Concerts of the Symphony Orchestara of Milan Giuseppe Verdi and for the Italian NGO "Aibi Amici dei bambini (Friends of Children)".

In 2006 she founded together with other members “Le Mille” (The Thousand) a non-profit association which promotes the right to communication (workshops and laboratories creative Italian-expression) as the right to citizenship for all immigrant women. She studied Afro-contemporary dance she did two living-studying in West Africa (Guinea and Burkina Faso) during which he made several Photo reports.
